The Swearing Collection
I've spent a couple of months exploring the world of "Swearing", getting more and more into the history & usage of this interesting offending topic the result was this fucking Swearing Collection. A linen white box that contains, a book, an audio tape, a newspaper, a series of three screen printed posters and a shirt. All the objects in the box tell their own story and have a purpose.
1.The Swearing Atlas
Starting with the book that is almost an encyclopedia of the world of Swearing, where is the origin of swearing, how does it work in our brains, censorship and more are chapters in the book.
2.The Swearing Tape
One of the many benefits that the world of swearing offers is that swearing is stress relieving. Using this strong fact I’ve produced The Swearing Tape. An anger management recording, a spoken word and sound therapy, to help you let go of stress easily and naturally. The recording will guide you through several languages of swear words, coming along with sounds and music.
3. The Swearing Club
After all, it came out that swearing is very beneficial for our society and ourselves. For me this was reason enough to promote swearing and one brought the other and I’ve founded the so called Swearing Club.There are so many Clubs, and Groups of people out there, fighting for their rights, christian clubs, animal & human right clubs, sport clubs and so on so why the fuck not a Swearing Club. Every proper Club needs promotion,a campaign almost, so does the Swearing Club and that’s why I as the founder designed and screen printed a series of three promotion posters, a Swearing Club Paper and of course member Shirts.
The Swearing Paper is a news paper that brings through the way of thinking of the club and its manifest. What you’ll find in the Swearing Paper are Illustrations, more information all according to the Club and the benefits of swearing and a series of photographs with experience reports of the first Club members.
If you can call yourself an owner of one of the rare screen printed Swearing Club Member Shirts, you can consider yourself as an official member of the Club.
